Band leaders do a second job nobody signed up for: chasing venue details, working out who played, dividing the take after gas and gear, texting everybody their cut, and pulling it all together at tax time. StageCut does that job. Enter the gig once, and it carries the show from booking to payout to year-end report — on your phone, with your band's data staying on your device unless you choose to sync it.
Create a gig with the date, venue, client, address, and start and end times. Add the details that usually live in five text threads — load-in, soundcheck, hotel, contacts, contract notes — and check off which members played. Only the members who played are in that gig's payout.
Enter what the gig paid and mark what's taxable. Set your estimated tax rate, mileage, and any other costs so overhead comes off the top, and hold back a band fund — a flat amount or a percentage — before the split. Add a bonus for the member who ran sound or drove the van, or a deduction where one's due. Split evenly, or by percentage, flat rate, or a fixed amount per member. Members who handle their own taxes are marked 1099 and get their full share automatically. Totals update as you type.
See each member's totals and per-gig breakdown, filtered by month. Red is money owed on completed gigs; blue is projected earnings on upcoming ones. Tap a member's name to text them their amount. Year-end totals show income, expenses, monthly trends, and what's already on the books ahead.

Plan upcoming shows, look back at history, and block off the dates you can't play — one day or a whole range. Tap any gig to send it to your device calendar so your personal schedule and the band's line up.
Turn on Band Sync and invite members with a code and a personal PIN. They join free, and their app shows the band calendar, their own gigs, and a single "Total Paid" figure per gig — not the split, not the band's costs, not anyone else's pay. When you update a gig and publish, everyone's app is brought current. Removing a member frees their seat, and they keep read-only access to their own past totals and the calendar. One account, one plan: it works the same on iPhone and Android.

Keep clients and venues on file, with address lookup so the load-in address is right the first time. Track band expenses against the fund. Do my band members have to pay?
No. Members join free with the invite you send them. Only the leader's plan counts seats.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Your band's data lives on your phone, so gigs, the calculator, and totals all work offline. Band Sync needs a connection only when you publish or refresh.
Can members see the band's finances?
No. A member sees the band calendar, their own gigs, and their own "Total Paid" figure. The split, the costs, and other members' pay stay with the leader.
What about taxes?
Mark the members who handle their own taxes as 1099 and the calculator pays them their full share. At year end, generate a PDF report on a checks-only or checks-plus-cash basis for your bookkeeper.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
It's still on your phone. Band Sync stops publishing to members, and everything you entered stays with you. Your data is your responsibility. Cloud sync gives you auto cloud storage and enables you to share the calendar with your members to keep you all up to date.
