Delete your StageCut account

StageCut is published by Greenhead Productions, LLC. This page explains how to delete your StageCut account and the data connected to it. You can do it inside the app, or — if you have already uninstalled it — by email.

Option 1 — delete it in the app (fastest)

 Open StageCut.

  1. Go to Account & Band Sync.
  2. Tap Delete Account.
  3. Read what will be removed, then confirm.

If you are only a band member, your account is deleted immediately. If you lead a band, see the timing below

Option 2 — request it by email (no app needed)

Email patrick@greenheadproductions.com with the subject Delete my StageCut account.

Send it from the email address your StageCut account uses — that is how we confirm the request is really yours. We cannot action a request sent from a different address.

We will confirm by email when the deletion is complete. Requests are handled within 7 days of receipt; if you lead a band, the 30-day wind-down below still applies and the confirmation comes at the end of it.

How long it takes

If you are a band member: your account and the personal information tied to it are deleted right away. You are removed from the bands you joined. Your past gigs stay in the band's own records, which belong to the band leader. To rejoin later you would need a new invitation.

If you lead a band: your bands become read-only immediately, and 30 days later your account and the cloud copy of your bands are permanently deleted — every synced gig, payout total, roster entry and backup snapshot. During those 30 days you can cancel the deletion by signing back in. We confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in credentials
  • Your membership links to any band
  • For bands you lead: all cloud data for those bands, including synced gigs, payout totals, roster entries, invitations, and stored backup snapshots

What is not deleted

  • Data on your own device. Deleting your account does not erase StageCut's data from your phone or tablet. You keep it, or remove it yourself by deleting the app.
  • Backups you exported yourself. Files you saved to your own storage are yours and are not touched.
  • Data band members already downloaded. Once a member's device has synced a band, that copy is on their device and we cannot reach it.
  • Band records that belong to a leader. If you were a member, your past gigs remain part of that band's own records.

Data retention

  •  Only the five most recent versions of a band's database are kept; older versions are deleted automatically. Invitation codes expire on their own. Once a deletion completes, nothing tied to the account remains on our servers.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting your account does not cancel a StageCut Band Sync subscription. Cancel it yourself or you will keep being charged:

  • Android: Google Play Store → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  • iPhone / iPad: Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions
